Amazon Web Services Evangelist Meetup, hosted by Invite Media

Thanks to everyone who could make it out.  We had a great turnout, over 100 people.  Jeff Barr also did a great job explaining AWS and its benefits for tech startups. Facebook Developer's Garage

Just got back from this event. Met a ton of interesting people, a lot of whom were at our event the night before.  Also got to hear Dave from Facebook, the founder/engineer of the Platform, speak about what's coming up and how to work with the platform.

The Black Crowes

Went to The Black Crowes concert last night at the Electric Factory.  Great concert, especially loved the one harmonica song that was introduced by a long drum solo.  Pictures to follow:

Amazon Web Services Meetup in Philadelphia, hosted by Invite Media

On Wednesday, November 7, we'll be hosting an Amazon Web Services Meetup at our offices in Center City Philadelphia. Jeff Barr, Amazon's AWS Evangelist, will be at the event. Invite Media already uses EC2 and S3 heavily, and we have already talked to a few other companies in the area who do the same. We're also hoping to bring together a lot of the PA'ers interested in technology at the event, and will of course be firing up the grill on the roof for free barbecue :)
